Tell us a little about you?

I am just a simple man who enjoys a nice conversation, some good laughter, and a great movie.  I feel every man has a woman tendency and mine would be shopping.  I am a family oriented person who values the relationship I have with my immediate family.  I am a homebody but I do like to travel, if that makes sense.

What’s your personal sense of style? 

My personal style is custom to me and how I am feeling at the time.  I tend to grab things from different genres of fashion, whether it be Urban, European, American Classic, or Harlem Renaissance and find a way to co-mingle them all together for a style that fits me.

What do you do for fun? 

I love movies, shopping, playing basketball, spending time with family and friends, watching sports, listening to music, and entertaining my son.

Do you have or want children?

I have a son (Aden), who’s 3 years old.  He has taught me the art of patience, understanding, and unconditional love.  I am a better man because of his existence.

Would you date a woman with children? 

I would as long as the kid(s) aren’t bad and have some structure.  I don’t know if I could do a woman with a lot of kids though….lol!

What do you look for in a woman? 

This is such a detailed question for me because I know what I want, need, and desire out of a woman; so I will try and be brief.  I like a woman who has a great personality, who can laugh and have a good time but also be serious and handle business when need be.  I like a woman who’s independent but not to the point she feels she doesn’t need a man.  I would be lying if I didn’t say I look for a woman who’s attractive and easy on the eyes.  I like a woman who has a certain “jazziness” about herself.  It’s hard for me to explain; I just know it when I see it.  I think it would be the female version of swag if I had to sum it up.  I enjoy a woman who presents herself well.  This is from the hair, clothes, body, etc. I also like a woman who’s assertive and knows what she wants.  Last but certainly not least, she has to have some Jesus in her life.

What does it take to make and keep you happy? 

Not, much… I just want to be able to laugh, feel appreciated for the things I do, and respected for the man that I am.  One thing that makes me happy and impresses me at the same time would be a woman who takes the time and effort to learn me.  If you do that, you will see that the simple things in life mean the most to me.

What are your feelings on marriage? Are you ready to settle down and get married? 

I think marriage is a great thing. I look forward to experiencing it for myself.  My parents are still together after 29 years and I believe I am the man I am today because I was able to have them both in the household.  I can’t say that I am ready for marriage right now because I don’t think you know that until you are with the person that gives you that feeling.  I do want to be married but don’t have a time constraint.  I am, however, ready for a significant other to share a relationship with and work towards that next phase, which is marriage.

Tell me something about yourself that I haven’t asked but may be important?

Unfortunately, I have known you way too long, so I don’t believe there’s anything you haven’t asked because you’re nosey and always in my business….lol!  I think one thing that you may not know about me is that I started writing songs.  I am trying to get my Neyo on… I found it to be a way of me expressing the things that I have encountered growing up and in my adult years.
