Aoki Lee Simmons' Fashion Show Birthday Party
Mini Mogul Aoki Lee Simmons daughter of Kimora Lee Simmons Honsou and Russel Simmons celebrated her 8th birthday in style at Modani in West Hollywood. Much like her mother Aoki Lee is a little fashionista so I expected her to have a fabulous birthday party.
In true Simmons fashion Aoki Lee decided to have a fashion show complete with a runway hair stylist and an MUA for her birthday. It was a black and white Chanel themed party (check out the cake). Aoki Lee and her big sister Ming Lee love to give back and help others, Kimora is raising them well. Not only was this fashion show for her birthday, it was also for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Enjoy the pictures!

Coach sues The City of Chicago
According to a report from Reuters, Coach is suing the City of Chicago for allegedly allowing the Maxwell Street Market to sale knock-off handbags. Coach filed the $2 million lawsuit on Wednesday stating they’d suffered “substantial damages” as a result of the sales.
Apparently a Coach representative acted as a “secret shopper” and purchased a “Coach” handbag for $18 and a “Chanel” handbag for $24. Both vendors were arrested and 351 “Coach” bags were seized. On an earlier visit to the Market the same representative discovered several of the 300 vendors were selling counterfeit products in plain view.
It looks like Coach is trying to make an example out of the City of Chicago just like they did Kmart when they sued the company for selling luggage with a print similar to theirs. My thing is, fakes are faux fabulous and you’re doing yourself a huge disservice by buying and carrying but so is buying knock-offs. People that carry the real version of what you bought for $24 know that yours is fake. I say if you can’t afford the real thing go without. Not only are you making a bad fashion statement, you’re also contributing to terrorism. Harper’s Bazaar has a campaign against knock-offs that goes in to great detail.
